| His face grew slightly pink at her description of him using the rose. "Thank you Suzu-chan!" he said, happily, "That's very sweet!"
A pink rose? I think it fits! He thought, holding his bunny closer.
He was curious about her garden. "What kind of fruit do you grow? Are they all sweet?!" Mitsukuni said, hardly able to contain himself.
At her question, he looked up in thought. He hadn't ever baked before, he hadn't really needed to. Usually someone else took care of that and he got to enjoy the results. That's not to say he wasn't itching to try his hand at it at least once. How hard could it be? Who knows, maybe he would be good at it! Plus he could make any flavor he wanted to!
"I've never baked before, but I think I could try it someday!" he exclaimed, looking back at her, "I bet I could make interesting flavors to try too! Do you bake?"

She saw it! The pink color on his cheeks and the bright smile…it was like someone sucker punched her heart with how cute it was!! Suzu could hear the rapid hear beat in her chest as she looked at Honey. ”You’re welcome! She giggled softly and shifted her seat a bit. Honey-senpai is so cute! I hope we can be friends…
She had to count on her hand the number of fruits that grew. There was a good amount of them, since gardening was a hobby her mother greatly endorsed. ”Well I have a cherry tree, an apple tree, and a peach tree…a strawberry patch…a couple of bushes for berries…and I think there is more….but I can’t remember!” She smiled brightly at Honey as she picked up a cup and poured a bit of tea in it. ”I use them when I bake too. It’s really fun! I would love to do it with you sometime.” She felt so warm and confident. This was certainly new for her, but she hoped that it was a feeling that could last.

| He listened to her list of fruits she grew, his interest piquing at 'strawberries'. "Strawberries are my favorite!" he was nodding, turning in his seat to speak to her more. He noted she poured herself some tea, and realized he should have paid closer attention to her as his guest. His other two had switched to one of the others for now. That was fine, he knew they had a penchant for 'host hopping'.
When she mentioned she baked he stared at her in wonder. Whose daughter is she again? he thought.
"Let's do that some time! You can teach me!"
Immediately his thoughts began drifting towards all the things he could make and taste. Strawberry was definitely the first one he wanted to bake, and if he could sneak frosting, even better!
"Do you make frosting yourself too?" he asked, "What all have you baked? Do you only bake sweets?!"
He continued on, knowing he was throwing questions at her quickly, but he couldn't help himself.

Suzume watched that one of the girls left. She wasn’t really sure how to react to that situation, but the question of if it was her fault came to mind. She knew she was taking up a great deal of the cute host’s time. Though the question certainly popped up in her mind. What exactly did it mean to be a host? She was certainly curious, but for the time being she would push it aside. She was having fun and didn’t want to lose it. It was so cute to see that Honey wanted to bake with her.
”Make frosting? Yes, I know some recipies. I bake all kinds of sweets! I really enjoy making tarts and pies with fresh fruit, but I remember learning how to make a few others when I’ve traveled with my mother. She’s an actress, so we go all around the world.”
Carefully she took a sip of her warm tea, but silently contemplated if she should give the boy more information about herself. Though the question came out before she could really think of anything else. ”Do I bake other things besides sweets? Well…I know how to cook some things…I have to since I’m home alone so much.” She set her tea cup down and poured some of the liquid into Honey’s cup. He really was so cute.

| “Thank you for the tea, Suzu-chan!” he began adding sugar into his cup, before drinking it. So her mother is an actress… he wondered as he swallowed the sweetened tea.
“If your mother is an actress, is acting something you have an interest in too?” Honey asked. It seemed a lot of people at Ouran Academy intended to follow in their parents footsteps, he was curious if she would as well. Though, an actress with pink hair could be interesting to see.
It seemed too that she was well-traveled. “Oh where all have you traveled to? Where was your favorite?” Travel was always fun, minus the jet lag. He did enjoy the sight-seeing, but mostly he was interested in trying sweets he hadn’t before. If he found something he liked, he could always bring back a lot of it!
Alone? Did her father travel a lot?
“I am sure your cooking is delicious!” he commented, hoping it would earn him a smile.

Suzume looked at Honey for a moment and nearly dropped the tea pot she held as she looked at his cute face. How could someone be that cute? Honestly he must have been the sweetest little thing in the world! Though she wondered if Honey had a dark side to him as well, everyone did right? Most people were cruel from her experience…so she wanted to do her best to keep her guard up. The last thing she needed was to get hurt by someone again. ”I like France. They make such pretty things, between Art and Sweets. It’s always so enchanting…like a fairy tale when I visit.”
He questioned her about acting. Was it something she wanted to do? In reality no it wasn’t. She hated being the center of attention, plus she wasn’t anything like her strong and beautiful mother. What Suzu wanted to do was something similar to what her father used to do before his military career took off. ”I want to be a teacher of some kind…maybe martial arts? Open my own dojo or something. My father used to do it…he was really good too.”
She giggled softly at Honey’s compliment. He hadn’t even tried her cooking yet. The blonde was certainly a sweetheart. ”I can let you try it sometime Senpai. Shall I make you a lunch one day? It probably wouldn’t be anything fancy though…”

| Her father did martial arts? Maybe his family knew him at some point...maybe Honey even knew him. He decided to keep that to himself this time. If she wanted to open her own dojo, Honey could understand that. He nodded at her declaration, “Have you always thought about teaching?”
She offered to make him lunch. That was a new one. “It doesn’t have to be fancy if you enjoy doing it!” he smiled, “That’s sweet of you, if you make me lunch I’ll eat it! I bet it’ll be yummy!”
The other girls had offered him sweets or tea before but no one had offered to make him lunch. He found her kindness to be charming. He wondered, perhaps, if they could be friends. She seemed interesting, and getting to know her could be fun.
There was a sound, indicating time was up for the day. Honey stood with his Usa-chan and tried to help her with her chair. Once he made sure she was standing he smiled again. “It was nice to meet you, Suzu-chan! I hope you’ll come back to see me again! I still have to make cake with you after all, right~?” He said. He wasn’t sure what the future held, but he knew that today, it had been a great day.

Suzume heard the little ding. She had quite a few questions to ask the small blonde, but she felt it would be best to wait. So she stood up with Honey and smiled softly. ”I look forward to seeing you again. Thank you for talking with me Senpai.” She then bowed to the upper classman and picked up her bag.
She put a hand on Usa-chan’s head and bent down, giving the pink rabbit a small kiss on her ear. ”I enjoyed being with you too Usa-chan.” Suzu smiled brightly before quickly leaving the room and heading into the direction of the library she once intended to enter. Hopefully she would still have time to get her studies done.
