HISTORY
Daichi was born the eldest son to the current head of Yamada Automotive Industries and his wife, the heiress to a German industrial company that did much business with Yamada Industries. He was almost ten years old when his younger sister was born, whom he doted on affectionately. It was joked among the family staff that Daichi would do anything for her, and that she essentially had him wrapped around his little finger. Truth be told, they were pretty much right.
From a young age, Daichi had a love for cars, which was enthusiastically encouraged by his father. As the boy grew older, however, the father began to grow worried that his eyes may wander from the industry he was to inherit and to frivolous girls who would waste his time. As such, when Daichi was old enough, he was enrolled into Augustin Academy.
Little did the Yamada head know, though, that Daichi was not at all interested in letting himself be distracted... well, not by women, anyway. Either way, he wasn't about to disappoint his father. It is mostly a sense of family honor that has managed to pull him through his coursework, which he otherwise sees as a waste of time when he could be doing other, more productive things... like rebuilding engines... or working on his jump spin kick... or playing with his sister... Yep. Productive things.
