Let me tell you one thing ahead, befriending Hikaru is much harder than befriending Kaoru. Unlike his younger twin, Hikaru is very dependent on his brother and close friends as he does not have anything but close friends either way. When Kaoru is not around to give him some stability, Hikaru has this 180 degrees flex of personality. He gets very defensive and shuts himself away more or less, it's harder to get past his crumbled wall, especially because he is so very protective of his other friends and his twin that he often refuses others the entrance to 'their own little world'. It is possible, don't get me wrong, but very difficult.

Good luck with that one. It's not like he isn't used to girls swirling around him and Kaoru as they are both hosts and all. Yet it's more likely for Hikaru -if you'd confess to him- to simply toy around with you. It takes a lot for him to really fall for someone. You will need to be able to tell him and his twin apart. Hikaru dislikes being mistaken for his brother, so don't just guess this. You might not be as lucky. Beside of that, it's a little harder to get close to him either way to get him to fall in love with you. It takes time. However, if you got him to fall for you, he can be a real sweetheart. He might be a little bit rude at the beginning because he is not used to dealing with other people but his twin and whatever you do, don't get him jealous. But he will take great care of you.

Something that is surprisingly not as unlikely for Hikaru. He often doesn't mean it, but if you try to get closer to his 'family' or twin, you might directly get on his bad side because he sees you as a threat and gets jealous. Of course he will not see you as enemy, but until he gets over his jealousy he will definitely dislike you. But beside of that, it's not very likely for Hikaru to gain enemies. You'd have to threaten the host club and any of his members seriously for that to happen. If he does consider you an enemy.. Well..
