He took this rare opportunity to do some research on Feudal Japan, specifically the noble warriors known as the Shinsengumi. Most of what he had learned in his time at the academy was major moments in Japan's history, which touched on the culture and some of the history of Feudal Japan. Curtis was able the find a lot more texts on the subject than he was hoping and started to take notes from the stack of books he took off the shelf while making sure that he cited his sources. Curtis was actually gathering a lot of information that he didn't already know that it was looking like he might end up with enough to write a research paper on the subject. Most people would be confused as to why he had such an interest in the subject, but he was certain that they would understand when the subject of him being an American came up. Little did he know that he would get more than he had ever bargained for. Awkward Katsuki strikes again lol [attr="class","grad"] [attr="class","box"]Well, Katsuki was obviously frustrated. No, not sexually, if you need to know. Geez, get your mind out of the gutter. It wasn't anything too bad, but still fucked up. And it was a problem that did not seem to have any solution whatsoever, so that was even worse. What was it? Well, he had been way too oblivious regarding the newspaper and he lacked a great amount of articles. The magazine that usually contained up to thirty pages now only had ten pages, whereas the deadline was approaching with fast steps. What the hell would he write in there? He had no idea; He had two articles about the new reading club, was planning to make one regarding the host club - which seemed to be making more and more profit by the way? -, but then what? The gradient haired student almost wanted to simply sell the thing like that. It wasn't as if anyone read it anyway, right? No, actually, there were some people who still read it and he didn't want to disappoint. His name would be on there anyway, so the failure would most likely go directly to the principal. He couldn't just publish it. He had to find a good article, like, a really good one. One that would totally work and stuff. So what did he do? What he usually did when he was distressed: Go to the library. Entering the small space - way too small for its own good -, Katsuki looked around anxiously before going to the "History" area. Maybe there was some sort of popular day coming out that he hadn't remembered and could write out an article for? You never know... But right there, at the same aisle, there was an orange-haired guy who seemed anything but familiar. Now, don't get me wrong, Katsuki wasn't one to interact too often, so of course that he didn't personally know everyone in the school, but that person simply didn't seem to fit in. He even had a different uniform: An...Augustin Academy one? Well, Katsuki wasn't just going to barge in and try to talk to him, that was obviously wrong. But he did know that he might get an article out of it, life at Augustin or something similar to that. He quickly sat down, scribbled down some questions he could use so that he won't stutter so easily as he usually did in front of new people and went straight to him. The guy was obviously taller than him, which kind of made it hard for Katsuki to tap him on his shoulder, but he somehow managed to. "Um, hello? I-If you don't mind me asking, are you from a different academy?", he asked, not looking directly at him. He didn't want to be too straightforward, but he still wanted to make sure before going further.
