Oh boy, boy, Lucius was strolling along the sidewalk, one shopping back in hand. Ah, the joys of shopping. Different clothes made him look like a different person, and then he was able to entertain in a different way. Of course, this was the fourth consecutive time he'd gone shopping thus far.
His caretaker had complained that he was too carefree with his money, but he begged to differ. These clothes were important for the club's next theme. He was thinking small cafe. The members could wear handsome waiter outfits and serve drinks. Ah, he loved his own brain sometimes.
The host club itself was still... Small. Not many people in his school were quite up to the challenge it seemed, despite it's popularity. That wouldn't be a problem, however. With a face like his, it shouldn't be that hard to reel in a few handsome faces.

He did have some attire from the previous years, but the only things he could afford this year was a black double-breasted trenchcoat and a pair of insulated gloves. "What I would kill for there to be an outlet mall somewhere. The overhead is outrageous… Oh well, at least I won't freeze to death when winter comes." Curtis grumbled in agitation, aware that the price of things were really steep in this area. Even though he was living at the Academy, he still found some ways to save money even if he was reluctant to spend every penny on protective clothing. It wasn't until he started to walk towards Lucius, from the front, that he stopped and stared at his classmate. He wasn't fully aware who he was at the time, and it was definitely one of those awkward moments of forgetting something important until it clicked. "Did you come here to shop for clothes too?" Curtis asked Lucius curiously, not knowing why the dark haired male was here in the first place. Or could have Curtis come at the right place at exactly the right time? Oh boy, boy,  Lucius' attention was grabbed by a voice. He had a generally good scope of who attended the school (it's best to know one's customers, after all), and he had an especially good idea of people who piqued his interest. If his guess was correct... Then the person he's encountering would be Curtis McNeal. He turned and a satisfied smile came up on his face.
"Why hello there handsome~" He waved, slowing himself down so he could walk at his side. "I was just doing a bit of shopping, actually. It's fortunate that you managed to find me, I've got a bit of a proposition for you." Curtis had some kind of charm that could be used if he applied it correctly. He's pretty sure if he could just dress him up in something more tasteful (really, where does he shop?), customers would be crawling all over him. Ah, he was truly a genius.
What better idea was there out there than a host club? Surely not his very own idea, but the original creators were quite flimsy with their plans. Sure the girls of... What school was that again? Aaron? It didn't really matter. Surely the girls of that academy would get bored of them eventually... Well, they wouldn't exactly be welcome in his club either... It must be terrible for such beautiful ladies to have to suffer because they didn't match his sexual preferences. He almost felt a little bad.

The dark-haired male's tease certainly caught his attention, but he was not the type to start blushing so easily over such a light tease. Curtis was aware that Lucius was the president of the academy's host club and the fact that he was also looking to recruit other members. The ginger then came to the conclusion that Lucius thought that Curtis would do well in the host club under his direction. "If your proposition is an offer for me to join the club, and if you're confident that I would do well in it, I accept your offer. Just let me know what I need to do." Curtis said after putting his hands in his pockets, literally not knowing what he had just gotten himself into. Hopefully he wouldn't have to do something too far out of his comfort zone while under Lucius' direction. Curtis never had officially hosted before nor did he have any idea what it was really like other than what he had heard from others. It would seem that the ginger had the handsome good looks, but he would certainly need to be taught how to carry himself and play the part. He had no idea the kind of boy magnet that he had the potential of being because he was frequently serious and aggressive in nature, but he had very good reasons why he was that way. The Curtis that almost no one ever got to see was actually gentle, protective, caring, and romantic. It was just that he didn't embrace these feelings because he didn't want to project weakness and end up being teased and picked on which would result in him completely losing his temper and getting into a very physical altercation.
