HISTORY
Haruhi Fujioka grew up in a middle class family by her mother and father. She was only five years old when her mother passed from an unknown ailment. Her father, Ryoji, known as Ranko to his friends, was deeply impacted by his wife’s passing. He began to care for Haruhi by working in a transvestite bar, where he made most of the family’s income. As Haruhi grew, she began to succeed in school and was offered a full scholarship to Ouran Academy. She started Ouran with little money; she could not even afford a school uniform. She also ended up with short hair due to a neighborhood child putting gum in it before the school year began. Her life changed when she meet the Host Club, she walked in one day surprised and slightly unraveled by the boys she broke the hosts club’s vase. She was the in debt to them she then began to work for them as their errand boy, thinking she was a boy. It wasn’t long before the host club figured out she was a girl. After that she still continues to work as a host to pay off her debt, her secret is still being kept by the host club members.
