It began in the Middle Ages with the Petrova bloodline. And now that line has been broken. With Elena Gilbert facing all the challenges of a new vampire and the Mikaelsons still lurking, the times haven’t changed much around Mystic Falls. But things are getting much more dangerous for the supernatural. A group of hunters have heard rumblings of all the vampires and werewolves living in the town, threatening all who live there. They intend to cleanse Mystic Falls forever, even if they have to burn the entire town to the ground. Tatia Petrova has been resurrected by Bonnie. The witches on the other side told Bonnie Tatia was the key to defeating the hunters and sent both Bonnie and Tatia back to the land of the living. As soon as Klaus caught wind of this he immediately broke Tatia out of the Salvatore Boarding house and she is now staying with the Mikaelsons, Klaus's old friend from New Orleans named Marcel has shown up in Mystic Falls with a powerful witch named Davina, but Rebekah and Marcel used to be an item and after Mikael found them in New Orleans years earlier they thought he had died and Rebekah is shocked to see her old lover alive and well. Jeremy Gilbert was brought back when the Veil was down as well as Kol. Will all the supernaturals crawling in Mystic Falls will it be enough for them to overcome the hunters, or will this simply just be The End.
